When buying your honeymoon and bridal lingerie, don’t forget to plan for the most important night of all — the wedding night. When the wedding dress comes off, your lingerie should tempt the groom and scream sexy, beautiful, chic and angelic all at once. Traditionally, lingerie on the night of the wedding is white and not black, even though black is usually seen as much sexier. A long-standing tradition, white lingerie matches the day’s ambiance of purity and beauty, it is simply the cherry placed on top of your hopefully flawless day. But, don’t feel as though you have to keep this tradition, if you want ro wear pink, black, or yellow… do whatever your heart desires. But below are a few suggestions I thought up.
A couple of ideas:
1) Integrate in a sexy garter, they are beautiful and it’s the one night that wearing it actually makes sense.
2) Veil anyone? Yes, a veil. As pictured below, it gives an angelic touch to the look and will be a great mental picture for your man forever on out… Due to the contents, I didn’t picture it below, but I’ve seen many boudoir shoots where the bride took photos nude with nothing but the veil incorporated into the shots. Let me say, they were beautifully done, very sexy and not tacky at all. Veils can be extremely sexy and beautiful… I mean, when else are you going to be able to wrap yourself in tulle and feel like a princess. Yes I said it, princess… a sexy princess. lol. ok moving on …
3) Lingerie doesn’t need to be pricy, in fact, have it gifted to you at your shower. Ask for specific items for your shower. Go and find things that you want, try them on, make good notes (store, size, style, etc) that way, there will be no size guessing for your guests. Be clear and concise with your guests and you won’t end up with tacky lingerie for your shower and instead some beautiful pieces that fit well and will be used. This means you must take the time to try things on to find what you like and what looks good. And on that note, happy shopping!

Because I am from Arizona, this week’s decor inspiration, is an Arizona home that is all about contrasts: masculine & feminine, dark & light, murano glass chandeliers and tufted club chairs. All of the perfectly pretty pieces — hotel bed linens, gold and crystal jewel boxes, silk drapes and pink and white flowers in every room — make this home as glamorous as it is chic. And how can I forget, the exquisite marble in the bathrooms and kitchen (which by now you should know), make it an immediate favorite. I love the dark and light contrasts in each space, perfectly paired elegance that both men and women will enjoy.

Travel the world, to some of the most beautiful and exotic locations that exist not only in fairy tales but in real life. Days filled with — the warm sun kissing your skin, pure blue skies or seas, the green countryside and a drive along the coast, winter castles or quaint cafés, perhaps the simple romance of crashing waves . . . Here are a few beautiful spots that you might not have heard of, get inspired to renew that visa and start planning the trip of a lifetime.
The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef system. Thousands of colors and beauty, It’s located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland, Australia.
Ball Pyramid is the world’s tallest sea stack. It is the remains of a shield volcano formed about 7 million years ago. It is 562 meters high and is located southeast of Lord Howe Island in the Pacific Ocean. An amazing picture of God’s creation.
The ice canyons in Greenland were carved by meltwater and are as deep as 150 feet… Too cold for my taste but its beauty is remarkable.
The Cinque Terre is part of the coast in the Liguria region of Italy. The terraces built on the rugged landscape are a filled to the brim with color and romance, here lies my dream escape…

S0 this is not a funeral
It’s a revolution, after all
your tears have turned to rage…
Just wait, everything will be okay
Even when you’re feeling like it’s going down in flames
People like us we’ve gotta stick together
Keep your head up nothing lasts forever.

Between the lost pocket of time — the one just as winter is ending, spring and summer have yet to begin — time stands still, and the world holds its breath, waiting, waiting, for green grass and blossoms on trees, for tulips and daffodils and everything in bloom, and when it does finally happen, everything is awash in a hazy, golden light, and then everything comes alive again . . .

y the time you read this I will be on a plane traveling back home to San Diego. I’ve been gone for seven nice (but long) days, visiting family and friends. But with so many lovely things to get back to — sunny beach weather, a dear friend’s birthday celebration, two weddings, sunset drinks by the ocean and late night dinners with people I cherish — my thoughts keep drifting up into the clouds, which is exactly where my plane is headed. Now if only I could get my suitcase to close . . .

lie Saab, one of my favorite and most talented designers, has brought stunning works of art to the red carpet time and time again, so it comes as no surprise that this latest runway show, dipped in deep blue hues, is intermingled with everything that I love about her style, including layers of chiffon, lace and tons of delicate beading (a whole dress in fact!) Every piece she sends out has shimmer and moves effortlessly down the catwalk. Her work is graceful and elegant. I particularly love the first dress (pictured above). The color is so dreamy, it seems as though it was painted using strokes of water-color. I picked my top favorites to show, but the entire collection is just as sexy, sophisticated and so very etherial, simply put, Absolute perfection. . .
