Minutes before this couple was about to walk down the aisle this photo was taken. As the bride was getting ready to line up, she heard the groom’s voice calling for her around the corner. Flustered, she immediately told him, “Don’t come in here! Don’t look! You can’t see me before the wedding!” He laughed and said, ” I promise I wont look, but can you reach around this corner, take my hand and pray with me before we walk down the aisle?” She made her way over to him and took his hand, both in tears, the groom led the couple in prayer. He lifted their marriage up to God and asked Him to bless it, to remain at the center of it and to bless them on their wedding day. I am so glad this was caught on camera, it is one of my favorite pictures.
I hope this reminds us all about what a wedding really signifies — two people joining their lives together in the presence of God, family and friends. Weddings are fun, pretty and exciting, but a wedding is about a marriage and not a party, may we always remember that.

I’ve been living in grey these days — soft pullovers like jersey knit tees from J. Crew and cashmere beaded sweaters — layering material for warm days and cold summer nights. Grey has always held an innate elegance. I am inextricably drawn to all shades & hues — dark hues like charcoal or light ones such as heather grey, show the colors beautiful range.
Some fabulous inspiration centered around my new favorite color, grey. . .
I love the Louis Vuitton bag pictured below. It definitely falls into a favorite category on my wish list. I think a grey bag is a fantastic alternative to black. It can be seen as a great neutral, similar to the way one can wear black — as it goes with everything!

Everything seems to be in a swirl of romance — falling head first, all over again …
We sit and talk quietly,
with long lapses of silence,
and I am aware of the stream that has no language,
coursing beneath the quiet heaven of your eyes, which has no speech.

There are very few pieces that evoke a chic and glamorous reaction. French, feminine and impossibly romantic shades of lavender and soft blush, dresses of tulle and Parisian decor all intermingle, creating pure perfection . . . I love the wavy hair, fresh florals, and glimmering shoes – tied with a bow. Clearly, I’m a hopeless romantic. Not to mention a serious girls girl… Enjoy some simple pleasures today. Happy Monday.

It has been an introspective time, a time of change, thinking and planning . . . a time for dreaming — about nothing and everything all at once. And without being too deep or too serious, I’ll dream of tiaras, ball gowns in nature, the perfect pair of elegant shoes — fit for a princess. So if thoughts at this moment were to fall, they would probably look something like this . . .

Ashley and Matt hosted about 200 guests at their destination wedding held in Cabo at the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort. It provided the most pristine spot for the breathtaking nuptials. Ashley and Matt went with all-white decor and a few silver and gray accents to add a luxe touch to the theme. The couple asked guests to dress in all white (This is very uncommon, and I usually disagree with the idea, but surprisingly, it turned out beautiful without taking anything away from the bride’s big moment) Don’t let the neutral tones fool you, their wedding video shows you just how fun a wedding with a poolside affair complete with loud music and good friends can be… This is, a destination wedding done right. . . Congrats.

Twigs and Honey designed a beautiful and unique collection of pieces designed simply to adorn hair. Filled with gorgeous inspiration — these “tiaras” are fashioned using high quality gold, delicate cutouts of floral and leaf accents, and a few perfectly and elegantly placed rhinestones — ideal for any special event.
While some pieces in the collection are more glamorous than others, there are several that are quite simple in design. Personally, I think they would also be gorgeous dressed down, say, with jeans and heels, a finishing touch as the perfect accessory for any day of the week. But regardless of how you choose to sport them, every single piece is a work of art so if you decide to wear one, get ready for a ton of compliments. And don’t forget to smile, you’re now officially a princess for a day. . .
Especially these two, for women who opt out of a veil, these top and bottom pieces would be amazing for a wedding… adding just a little sparkle.
