February 2012

Like every other girl in the world, I dream and happily wait for my prince — the perfect prince– to take me to the ultimate ball, my wedding. I’ve never wanted a princess style wedding, but when I started collecting these images I found myself quickly starting to swoon over the romantic shades of blush and pink, ruffled chair covers, overflowing florals, glistening chandeliers and delicate tulle. Whatever your wedding style may be, let these images steal your heart, even if just for today. It’s ok to let your mind revisit those fabulously lost childhood dreams of tiaras, ball gowns and of course Mr. Prince Charming. J’adore ♥….

*Courage is fear that has said its prayers and decided to go forward anyway.

*You can suffer the pain of change or suffer remaining the way you are.

*Stop determining your worth and value by what other people say. Be determined by what the Word of God (scriptures)says.

*Character is doing what you don’t want to do but know you should do.

*It is not about reading the Word. It is about obeying the Word.

*Strive for excellence, not perfection, because we don’t live in a perfect world.

Whether you’re looking for inspiration for your wedding day or just simply love an elegant bun, this collage of classy and refined styles is sure to inspire an updo. Wishing you a wonderful end of the week. ♥

February, the month of romance and love… and speaking of love, I wanted to write a post about love letters. Valentines Day just passed and I had so much fun making my cards. There is nothing as touching as a hand written note from someone you love. Handwritten letters are a lost art, We type, text and e-mail one another, but rarely do we sit down and write out a letter. This year, I encourage you to get artistic and make your own cards. It is not only a fun project, but I promise you — and this is a promise — that the person receiving your card or letter will be touched and grateful that you took the time to make it and be creative.

Paper Source is one of my favorite places ever. They have a lot of do-it-yourself products and card making materials! And of course, there is also Michaels or Target!
