Dearest fashion lovers everywhere, Project Runway has begun! I am always inspired by the reality based fashion competition. The clothes, the hair, the makeup… Oh my! This week, the contestants had to create a red carpet look that showed their individual style. There were a few dresses that I liked, and a few…not so much…I decided it was my turn. And here is my work in progress, nothing like some barbie love…

Catch it every Thursday night. And be inspired! 🙂

I spent most of my weekend trying to kill time in front of a computer. Anything to keep my mind busy. Lucky for you, I stumbled upon some AMAZING material that I will blog about all this week. Pictures of weddings, cakes, and flowers..oh my the flowers… all to inspire those in the planning process. My favorite website that I found is called “Details Details” and oh the details that these ladies put into their events! I was awe struck! Any brides needing inspiration and a great team of planners in the California region should check out http://www.aboutdetailsdetails.com. The wedding below was featured in their blog. It was a nice change of pace from all the pink I’ve been seeing this season. Dont get me wrong…I love a pink wedding, but wow, you brides have majored in pink this year! Check out the beautiful shades of peach and yellow in the wedding featured below. I love the simple white backdrop with the pops of color from the roses, hydrangias and orchids.

Oh how I love these shots! They were taken by one of my new favorite photographers, Annie Randall. The beautiful bride-to-be, Amber, was simply glowing! I woke up at 4:30 a.m. so that I could get her ready for the early morning shoot. During the 110°+ Phoenix summers, it is the smartest way to do engagement pictures. The morning light was stunning and we had a good time despite the early hour. I can’t wait to work more with Annie; she is full of beautiful inspiration. Check out her website at http://www.annierandall.com. I can’t wait to see this wedding! Amber is so beautiful! xoxo

I find myself in awe of several of the weddings that I see. This one, was TRULY magnificent. Donna, the stunning bride, was all about the details! She didn’t leave one stone unturned when it came to planning her magnificent July wedding. An outdoor wedding in July? It takes a brave soul to attempt that … but Donna had everything planned to perfection! And the flowers … oh my, the flowers … LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Working on this wedding was some of the most fun that I’ve ever had!! The bride chose a purple palette for her eye color. She looked stunning. Congrats Donna and Eric. Wishing you both a happily ever after. 849410411164
The ultra-rich colors of the floral decor paired with the brightly colored linens added such a sense of welcome and warmth! In my mind, these rich reds, oranges, pinks and vibrant yellows scream JOY and HAPPINESS and give a clear indication that one heck of a celebration is about to begin! Thanks to Regeti’s Photography for the stunning shots!

“Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”

Laura and Brian were married at The Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. The ceremony dĂ©cor was soft and elegant with brilliant colors of red, orange and brown. Rose petals covered the aisle spelling out the letter “S” with a pop of color. At the end of the ceremony, guests tossed rose petals to Laura and Brian’s “rosy future” and for the cocktail hour, the vintage photo theme continued … the guests seating was indicated when they picked up chocolate brown boxes. On top of the custom label was the guest’s name. When they opened the box, their table number was nestled in a bed of orange rose petals and the lid of the box showed photos of the bride & groom’s dating history … the prom, a trip to Paris, their first date…very romantic. The day was styled by Victoria Canada Events. Pure perfection!! The bride is the classic blonde hair blue eyed beauty. She radiates that “wedding glow”!! Congratulations!
