Finally, a bride in a dramatic 20’s inspired look! To acheive this look, use MAC Viva Glam I on your lips; it is a perfect Marilyn Monroe red. And it gets better; every cent of any Viva Glam purchase goes to fund AIDS research. The bride looks beautiful draped in pearls and glamour.

Of all the weddings that I’ve seen, this one looks like me. I adore the J. Crew bridesmaid dresses, the simplicity of the decor and the whole feel of the event. I loved the bride’s hair so much that I went to Micheals and bought a white flower to put in my hair for work today! Enjoy!

Happy Friday! I haven’t blogged in over a week because I have been working around the clock. I have a lot of exciting opportunities and special experiences to share with you. Let’s start with the Mrs. America Pageant. I had the opportunity to work with a few of the contestants, teaching them about makeup and preparing them for their big night. Mrs. New Jersey and Mrs. Arizona, whom I spent the majority of my time with, were standouts for me. Both were lovely, teachable, funny, and all around pleasant. I had my fingers crossed for both of them. And GUESS WHAT, Mrs. Arizona took the crown!! Finale night I also had the opportunity to meet Miss World, Diane Tucker, who got her makeup done for the pageant as well. We realized that we both knew Diana Jung, the woman responsible for both of our web designs. What a small world!

I leave you with an amzing shoot was held in a downtown warehouse. It is a little bit Marie Antoinette, a little bit Girls Just Want to Have Fun, and a lot of pure gorgeousness. I loved the bright blue mismatched dresses with the vintage pearls and netted hair pieces. Just a simple reminder to have fun with your wedding theme! That’s all for now! 🙂

To those down and out or simply a bit overwhelmed with life,
Tomorrow is a new day. Dont focus on the negative, the glass IS half full. Be inspired by the small things in life. Remember the things that are important…like God, salvation, heaven, relationships….And most of all, your relationship with Christ. God cares for us and he is sovereign. His Holy Word is sure and his promises are true. I am so thankful for my parents and their love which never ceases to amaze me. My sister, who is the strongest female I know. My best friend Carly, who loves people with a passion like Ive never seen. And my savior, who gives me life.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”
Isaiah 41:10

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”
Philippians 4:6-7
