Summer Fashion – Date Nights

Getting ready for a night of romance? It’s summer and the trend is light and airy, with a touch of color and skin. Mixed metals went from taboo to fashion forward, as did showing a little skin. Done classy, it is the trend of summer 2013. Cropped tops with high-waisted skirts or shorts are all the rage.  Keep the amount of skin classy by choosing one asset to accentuate, for example, if you are showing stomach keep your skirt high-waisted and longer (i.e. no minis!) If you choose a backless shirt make sure the front has more coverage. A further tip, keep the colors neutral and soft to avoid a bad 90s flashback. Blush — a color that’s always feminine and elegant, is the perfect soft color to combine to anything white, black, or grey. Perfectly romantic for a Friday night date with that someone who makes you, well, blush . . .
